Take a Wellie Walk
Dig out those mud covered wellies last used in Autumn, and get out and about. Even though the sun is shining, the ground can be wet under foot, and who doesn’t love a good splash about in a muddy puddle! Whether you prefer to stroll on the beach, or trek the coast road, Torquay has 22 miles of stunning coast line for you to explore.

A longstanding tradition between Devon and Cornwall, is to bicker about which order the cream and jam go on a scone! Pull up a chair, rest your weary bones, take a sip of beautiful hot tea, and enjoy your scone the Devonshire way, relaxed and with the cream first, then the sticky strawberry jam!
Spring is one of the best times to visit the Farm, come and see the birth of new life as the lambing seasons begins, and sample the local Devonshire produce in the farm shop. If you are feeling more energetic, spend an afternoon meandering around the rolling green Devon farm lands.

Easter heralds the time when the locally run ferries timetables restart for the Summer season, take advantage of this cost effective and quick way to navigate around the bay. As the evenings get lighter and the nights get warmer, Torquay’s colourful lights fill the skyline like Dartmoor Piskey’s! The Bay comes to life, with an abundance of brasseries, late night cafes and watering holes. Some characterful buildings date back to the 1400’s while the more modern, just a snippet in time by comparison. Pick a harbour view spot, wrap up against the chilly sea air with a hot chocolate and watch the world go by.
